LET THE PARTY BEGIN

Seth writes . . .

The marketing and design people at Swallow Press got hold of us. The result? A new design to coincides with the reveal of our PLEDGED cover. Intriguing, isn't it?

Erin writes . . . After trying so many options, the designer decided to go with our existing hand-holding logo for the cover. And I'm so glad he did, because nothing else sums up the tenuous hold I have on Seth in PLEDGED better than the way we are holding hands in this picture.  And as for our diamond! How's that for a hero! The black and red? Read Pledged and you'll discover that black and red are theme colours carried throughout the book.

SO WHAT'S INSIDE THE COVER?
Everyone has a soul mate. But what do you do when your soul mate would rather give his soul to the demons than be with you?

Seventeen-year-old Erin has a problem. Seth has been hers forever, but now an ancient promise is tearing him away. And Reuel, the demon to whom the promise was made, will stop at nothing to force Seth to forsake Erin and to worship him.

How can Erin win against a pledge so binding that it has damned countless others to the same fate she and Seth will face if Reuel wins – an eternity alone?

The answer lies in the past. To find it, Erin and Seth must risk all, travelling back in time to a dangerous world where love is forbidden, and life – and death – hang on a promise.

Follow Erin and Seth as they travel to ancient Shenaya to break the pledge that has plagued their families for millennia. Caught in a war between the Angelic Guardians and the Gefallen, the disembodied dead, they must fight to keep their souls in tact and their love untainted.

Erin interjects . . . That’s the publisher’s official book blurb, but believe me, it doesn’t even begin to describe the hell I went through to win Seth's love.
Seth writes . . . And she will never let me forget it. So, before she can list all my crimes, let me get on with what this post is actually about.

WHEN AND WHERE IS PLEDGED AVAILABLE?
Pledge will be officially released on Amazon, Smashwords and all the other digital outlets on the 1st September 2012. It's already listed on Goodreads if you want to add it to your to-read shelf.

IN THE MEANTIME, LET'S PARTY
We’re hosting a massive party with giveaways, interviews and reveals all over the bloggersphere to celebrate the launch of Pledged. To follow the tour and to find out more about the participating blogs, click the link. http://todayinshenaya.blogspot.com/p/pledge-launch-and-blog-tour.html

And if you would like to part of the tour, then email us at: sethanderin@swallowpress.com and we’ll send you all details.

To be honest, Erin and I are biting our nails about this-

Erin interrupts . . . actually, that’s not altogether true. Seth’s the only nail-biter in this relationship, but I know what he means. We are nervous. So please, put us out of our misery by telling us what you think of our cover. We’ll be glued to the comments.

  2. Gwynneth! Erin!! Seth!! It seems that I've made my return from hiatus JUST in time! Congratulations on a beautiful cover! It caught my eye right away <3 I love the balance of the hand holding. It really gives the cover design a great "together" feel (Vivi's a Libran. Librans are obsessed with balance, so Vivi gives you a thumbs up on this one.) I think the only criticism for me would be that perhaps a bit more colour would be an okay thing too, but nevertheless, a lovely cover!!!

  3. Vivian! Welcome back. We've missed you. The blogging world has been poorer for your absence. And we are so glad you like the cover. Yes, colour, maybe you're right, but it's too late now.

  4. I love it, it is intense and the tilted G adds to the precarious barely there hand holding. Just added it to my TBR on goodreads. Yay!
